Welcome to the Oxfordshire Parenting Forum website. We aim to bring to together people in parenting education to share information and good practice, and to promote parenting education and keep a high profile in this important area of work.

What We Do

OPF runs seminars and networking events
OPF represents its members in pressing for effective policies and practice at local and national level
OPF runs a small grants programme to support parenting education
OPF works through task groups to develop policy and practice. Currently we have task groups for:
Working with fathers (Fathers’ Champions’ Network)
Promoting quality and practitioner support
Communicating with practitioners

OPF currently runs parenting and education support projects for:
Parents with children using the Webster-Stratton Whole Family Programme (with Dinosaur School for children). Click here for more information
Fathers, including OxonDads. Click here to go to the OxonDads blog.

Our report, Future-proofing fathers work, was published in July 2016. This follows our previous report on fathers' work in Oxfordshire, From the Margins to the Mainstream, published in December 2014. Both reports were researched and written by Martin Andrews. Visit our Resources page for more details and to download copies of both reports.
